Just got the news that the Garnier "Learning to Ride" spot I shot has been selected as a finalist in the Live Fearless Commercial Competition.  The director and crew worked really hard to meet the deadline, so I'm thrilled to hear their hard work has been complimented.  Congrats to everyone.

I was invited to join the cast of the established web series "La Chamba", a latino spin on "The Office" where we work at a web production studio.  I play the Acquisitions Director and  got busy bossing everyone around.  Video will be up soon.

I can die happy!  Lucy Lawless is my Stand-in.  Not Really, but there was a Zena cardboard cut out at a shoot for the American Bar Association and I have been told I resemble Mrs. Lawless.  I didn't get to play a warrior princess (maybe one day) but I did get to shoot several spots as a Legal Mediator.

On Set 03/12/2012

Here are a few pics from the set of a Garnier  Fructis Sec spot I just shot with a "Live Fearless" theme.  I can't give away too many details because its being entered in a competition.  I  played a mom with flowing hair.

Just got the news that Feroz has been selected to play at the Beverly Hills Shorts Festival in the Thriller block at the end of the month.  I play Anna, a woman killed by her husband who erases the evidence, but finds, to his horror, that either he's losing his mind or Anna's spirit will not go quietly.  "Feroz" is Spanish for ferocious, and it become's abundantly clear that Anna is the one who is truely "Feroz"
I was late and walked in during the middle of the film at the last festival so, I'm excited to see my CGI face this time!

Reunited and it feels so good!  Feroz a short film I worked on a year ago, was honored at the Los Angeles Film Festival.  The special effects and sound really came to life on the big screen.

Since I don't work a typical 9-5 job, its was fun to channel my inner office clerk for this print shoot.  These are stock photos, so I wonder where we will get to see them pop up?

I was given the most amazing gift as an actor: make-up that instantly transforms you into the character.  Huge thanks and praise to Allison Bryan and Shane Bell for their amazing artistry and teaching me how to make fake blood! (gylcerin, karo syrup and red food coloring).

They had me shove a wad of cotton up my nose to make it look like it had been broken.

The make-up before they covered me in blood. I'm wearing prosthetics below my lip and around my eye.

Here's a look at some of the photos Karen Curley of Black Cat Photography shot.
She usually shoots rock stars so I was stoked when she wanted to shoot me.  We shot in the alleys of skid row so hair and make-up was done in the comfort of a locked car and the shoot was quick and fun!

I got to play around doing a couple of different voices for the opening of a hollywood news show called the Ultimate Hollywood Countdown.  Here's the trailer for the show.
